Plant Characteristics:

SKINDEL has a medium to large frame with a deep green colour. A plant population of between 60,000 to 80,000 plants/ha is recommended.

Disease Resistance:

SKINDEL has superior downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) resistance (BL: 16 - 32) as well as resistance to aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri Nr:0).

SKINDEL is quick to mature that gets product earlier on the market with less spraying, irrigation and input costs. It has a good heat tolerance and can handle hot conditions with low risk for detrimental effects. It has a compact, flat round head with good ribbing which makes it attractive and suited for the pre-packed market.
