In March 2019, intense Tropical Cyclone Idai was one of the worst tropical cyclones on record to affect Africa and the Southern Hemisphere. The long-lived storm caused catastrophic damage in Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Malawi, leaving more than 1,200 people dead and thousands more missing.
Starke Ayres donated seed to the cyclone survivors. These seeds helped farmers that had all their food crops devastated by the cyclone.
Hundreds of families received assistance from this generous donation.
