The Agricultural and Commercial Show in Zambia is a forum where agricultural innovations and techniques are displayed to the farming community. This year, Starke Ayres again collaborated with the Zambia National Service to showcase a host of hybrid crop varieties, including tomato, cabbage and onion, along with others, including carrot, beetroot, swiss chard and a diverse selection of leafy vegetables. For the third year in a row, the demonstration plot secured the prestigious title of "Overall Best Demo of the Year." This remarkable achievement is testimony to the hard work,
knowledge and commitment of the team and to the degree of cooperation between the partners. The show aims to bring together expertise and potential in order to drive productivity to new levels. The new varieties and the vibrant array of leafy vegetables on display served to illustrate the advances possible in horticultural production. There is intention from both parties to continue the very successful partnership of the last few years. The shared vision of advancing agriculture in Zambia is an ongoing theme, and we look ahead with optimism, knowing the best is yet to come!
